Day of the Dead Poster
Day of the Dead poster inspired.
This creative is based on a tutorial to create a haunting, Dia De Los Muertos Illustration Using Adobe Illustrator. I followed the basic steps in recreating it but used my own color palate and tweaked some elements because I wanted the girl to look a little witchy than a voodoo priestess. Also created it in a flat color tone.
Must say that the pen tool in Illustrator has become my favorite tool after this!

I found this awesome Day of the Dead tutorial on PSDTuts by this talented artist named Sergey Kandakov. Naturally I had to try it out. Using my own image in the design, I tweaked it to my own style and preference.
Sketching in Adobe Illustrator is totally awesome! Will be creating more designs/illustrations in the future using this software :D
